The Challis Effect (named after a small town in central Idaho) was a solo rock project of Boise, Idaho native and multi-instrumentalist Matthew “Axl” Brammer (born Matthew Peck). Started in late 2011, the project had several releases before going on permanent hiatus in late 2014.
